Christopher Allen Grunawalt, aged 40, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 20, 2025, in Mount Solon, Virginia. Born on April 5, 1985, Chris was a cherished son, husband, and father. He was the son of Debra (Blake) Grunawalt and the late Allen Grunawalt.
Chris was a dedicated employee at BFG Supply in Harrisonburg, where he made many lasting friendships. He was united in marriage to Alysa (Michael) Grunawalt, who survives him, along with their three beloved children: Mikayla, Kaylee, and Addison Grunawalt. His grandmother, Virginia Phillips, also survives him.
While no formal services are scheduled at this time, Chris’s family has entrusted his care to Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater. His family expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of love and support they have received during this difficult time.
