Jonathan G. Feeny Sr., a 43-year-old man from Amissville, tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle crash early on Sunday morning, April 13, 2025, in Culpeper County, VA.
The accident occurred around 2:18 a.m. on Route 229, near Alum Springs Road in the Rixeyville area. Jonathan was driving a 2004 Jeep Cherokee south when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, and overturned.
Virginia State Police confirmed that Jonathan, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was ejected from the vehicle and sadly died at the scene.
The investigation has revealed that both speed and alcohol were considered factors in the tragic accident.
