Trooper Robert C. Gillespie of the Indiana State Police tragically lost his life on May 7th, 2025, while responding to a call for assistance in Lawrence County, near Mitchell.

The service remembered 49 Indiana State Police Troopers and Civilian Employees who have given their lives in the line of duty since the agency’s inception.
